Healthy Lifestyle Program
On the 6th of September we were introduced to Jefferey Allen and Agatha Hidalgo who were health and well being instructors. They firstly started off by telling us who they were and what they were doing. This program was all about what we can do to be more confident and never give up with what we are doing. Jeff was an army specialist so he didn't believe in the moto giving up even if your last in the race. We started off by Jeff explaining what five things we should do to live a proper life. The five things are work, diet, exercise, family and friends and relaxation. He said if we do these things right and well balanced we will live a good and healthy life. Then after the talk was over we began the hunter games. We were split into different teams. The first task we were given was tug of war. My team did well we won a few times then we got knocked out. After that we went back inside for him to give us another talk.
Then then next day we got a talk by agatha about what we should and should not eat and what foods are causing us to become obese. She told us what foods was causing us to become obese and what was in them that caused us to eat them. Then we went back outside and did more activities. They were mainly a lot of running races.
Looking back on this I found it very interesting and useful. It should me things that I could cant in daily life. The main message then were trying to send to us was no matter what circumstances your under never give up. I thought this was very inspiring and useful in life
